Mark
I spent 20 years working in sales, as a sales director selling software to aviation companies. When I was in five days a week, I got home at 18:15 if I was lucky, and by then it felt like my evening was over. So when my company let me work from home a few days a week, I didn’t hesitate. It was brilliant at first. Own home office, no painful commute, had the dog next to me during meetings. Then, it started driving me a little bit crazy being stuck inside all day.
So OWS is the epitome of what I wished I had, a comfortable space to focus on business, to look up and see people thriving and then shut the door properly at 17:00.

I come from a recruitment background so I’d heard of the struggles a lot of people went through. “An office has too much drama”, “The warehouse is too hard on my bones”. When I started seeing remote work positions becoming available, I thought that had finally solved people’s moaning about jobs. Then 6 months later they run back shouting they can never escape work in their house. I tweaked OWS to match what I had heard, which is why we open at 8:30 and close at 17:00. Along with many other things.

Wow! An amazing place to work on the move, hot desk, network for modern day working life and superb coffee choices and pastry’s. Really warm friendly greeting from the owners and nothing is too much effort to help you get meetings done and go about your working day, online or in person. The private phone booth is a great touch too for those more confidential calls.

Great to take a break from installing air conditioning and get on with some paperwork today in a nice quiet chilled out space where I can focus on the computer and not get distracted by the dogs or the tv at home.

A lovely, welcoming workspace right in the heart of Olney. Comfortable, thoughtfully designed and with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The background music is upbeat without being distracting, and I’m becoming slightly addicted to the blondies! A great place to get some focused work done, with the added bonus of being part of a local working community. Really pleased to have somewhere like this locally!

First time using the workspace. Owners were lovely and welcoming. The desk facilities were just what you need. No issues with the WiFi, even having teams calls and other people using. Added bonus with a coffee bar on site so didn't need to leave.
